Price: We build custom websites at the hourly rate of $150/hr. The total cost depends on the complexity of the project. Quality, custom websites typically run from $1,500 for a small site, to $50,000 or more for a large, complicated site. Hosting can be on your or our webserver and runs from $10/mo for low-cost shared hosting to $200-300/mo or more for high-quality dedicated hosting.

Custom websites are always more expensive than generic, 'shrink-wrapped' websites. So when does it makes sense to go custom?

Various Methods

A custom website can be created in a number of ways:

  • With 100% new software (what most people think of as a 'custom' website)
  • With a combination of new software and software libraries created by Identry to meet the specific needs of collectible dealers
  • By customizing third-party, open source software, or
  • By customizing the customizable parts of closed-source software
  • By integrating a website with other websites, such as eBay or StampWants, or with other software products, such as Point-of-Sale systems, or inventory management systems.

A moderate-sized custom website typically takes 1-3 months to create. Very large sites can take 6-12 months. The time to deliver your website will be estimated during the estimation process.

  • Network Specialist

Development can be accelerated to meet specific deadlines, by adding additional members to the development team. If you have a specific deadline, be sure to mention it in your initial phone consult.
